2020 Div 1 Coach Nominations

After a successful year in 2019, Glenmore Park Football Club is looking to continue its success into 2020. With GPFC already planning junior and senior trials for next years season, the club is now calling for all previous, interested or 2019 coaches to register their interest for division 1 teams in the 2020 season.

For those who are interested please fill out the required jot form (here) for consideration to be selected as a GPFC division 1 coach.

The GPFC coaching committee will be making their selection of coaches based on but not limited to:

  • current qualifications
  • previous experience
  • returning coach

Qualifications needed to coach a div 1 team in 2020:

  • U11 & U12- Skills acquisition
  • U13-U17- Game training
  • U18 & above- Senior

Should you not have any coaching qualifications, but have previous experience with other clubs, you will be required to undertake the appropriate community coaching course for the age group to be considered for selection.

Nominations will close on Friday 15th November at 5pm and the successful applicants will be posted on the GPFC website & Facebook the following week.

Don’t forget to include on your jot form which age group & division you’re nominating to coach and any coaching qualifications you hold (mandatory for div 1 nominations). If no qualifications, please state if you would be willing to undertake a age relevant coaching course, your previous coaching experience e.g. age group and division.
