Player Registrations

Registrations for the 2018 season will open on 5th January for the Senior age group (AA Men/Women, O35 & O45) and from the 1st February for all juniors. Please refer to the important information below regarding the registration process, fees and the new Active Kids rebate program.

SENIOR REGISTRATIONS:

OPEN from 5th January 2018

Senior Early Bird Fee – As an incentive for seniors to register early, a special early bird discounted rate will apply for all senior registrations, where the registration fee is paid online and in full by 31st January 2018. The fee is discounted by $20 for both senior ($290) and senior full-time students ($270). As noted, the fee must be paid online by 31st January. If the registration payment is not received by 31st January, the registration will be cancelled and you will need to re-apply from 1 February at the standard fee rate.

Senior Standard Fee – The senior standard rate will apply for registrations received and paid in full between 1st February and 17th February 2018, with the rate being senior ($310) and senior full-time students ($290).

Senior Late Fee – Any seniors registering after 17th February, which is the cut-off date for team nominations, will incur a $20 increased fee, for both senior ($330) and senior full-time students ($310).

JUNIOR REGISTRATIONS:

OPEN from 1st February 2018

Due to NSW Government’s new ‘Active Kids Rebate Program’, all junior registrations will not open until 1st February 2018. This is to ensure that GPFC families are able to take up the rebate for use with their child’s football registration, which is not available until the program commences after 31 January 2018.

The NSW Government will provide a rebate through a voucher system to parents/guardians of children enrolled FULL-TIME in school or TAFE (4.5 to 18 years’ old) up to $100 per child per annum to be used for registration and participation costs for sport & fitness activities.

A voucher code must be obtained for each child from a Service NSW Centre and can only be used once. The voucher code is to be recorded in MyFootballClub system at the invoice screen when completing your child’s registration.

Where a child may play multiple sports, the voucher cannot be split across registrations. For example, use say $50 for a football registration in February and the remaining $50 for a cricket registration in September. The total value up to $100 must be redeemed on the one sporting registration. In 2019 a new voucher code will need to be obtained from a Service NSW Centre, and so on over the next four years (2018-2021).

Junior Standard Fee – The junior registration standard rate will apply for registrations received and paid in full either online or at a club registration day between 1st February and 17th February 2018.

Junior Late Fee – Any juniors registering after 17th February, which is the cut-off date for team nominations, will incur a $20 increased registration fee.

Please refer to GPFC Rego Fees 2018 which have remained at the same standard rate since 2015.

The Family Discount (where 3 or more players are registered from the same family), will still be available however each players registration is to be paid in full and an online form will be soon be made available for the parent/guardian to claim the family discount ($50 for each registration from the 3rd registration onwards).

TEAM NOMINATIONS:

In order to be placed into a team prior to the commencement of the football season, a player registration must be submitted, paid in full and approved by the team nomination cut-off date of 17th February 2018.

Registrations will only be taken after this date where a vacancy exists in a team. The cut-off date rule applies due to the strict timeframes club have to submit team nominations to the Nepean Football Association (NFA).

Players are not guaranteed to be placed into the team of their choice, however every effort will be made to ensure junior players are able to play alongside their friends.  Preference is first given to all returning players from the previous season to remain in their same team (except for graded division 1 teams). Where returning players request to be placed into a different team, these requests can only be accommodated provided there is a vacancy in that team. This same rule applies for any new players to the club.

All registration enquiries should be directed to the club registrar via admin@glenmoreparkfootball.com.au
