Player Registrations

Registrations will open for the 2024 season on January 4th closing 9th February.

This is the how to guide for registering through Dribl

NEW PLAYERS – If you have never had an FA number before i.e. never played soccer before, you will need to obtain this through Play Football, the link will take you directly to the FNSW-Nepean Association Inc page. NFA will decline this registration once the number is obtained, please note this is just an admin process and doesn’t impact your registration in Dribl.

Once you have your FA number, you need to head over to Dribl to register and pay the fee, please apply your Active Kids Voucher at the payment stage if you are using one. The AKV is changing in 2024, see below for more information.

Coaches and Managers also need to obtain and FA number if they don’t have one.

RETURNING PLAYERS – Registration is done directly through Dribl, if you need to find your FA number, please log into Play Football.

FEES – Fee details can be found here, early bird fee option finishes on Wednesday 31st January.

PAYMENTS – All registration payments are to be made online through Dribl at the time of registering.

ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER – The Active Kids Voucher program is changing in 2024. The current vouchers expire on the 31st Jan 2024 with the new program starting on the 1st February 2024. If you are eligible to claim an Active Kids Voucher please ensure that you have applied for it through Service NSW prior to registering.

In Dribl the voucher is applied prior to the payment stage, at the end before you click checkout or add new registration. When reviewing the registration there is an option to add voucher, you need to do it then! If you get the the payment page without adding in, you will need to go back, cancel the registration and then an option to continue will come up and whilst you won’t need to enter all the info again you will need to click through to the review page and add the voucher.

FAMILY DISCOUNT – GPFC provides a discount of $50 for each registration from the 3rd registration onwards. Please complete the Family Discount form here, we will refund the discount after round 3 when the registration and payment period has settled.

PHOTOS – Please make sure your photo is a recent one, taken within the last 6 months. Photos must be passport style with a plain background, basically a head & shoulders shot against a plain wall! Photos that will be rejected include black & white, wearing a hat or sunglasses, group photos, cropped blurry photos, photo of a photo, side on photos, selfies or with a plain background.

IDENTIFICATION – All new players to GPFC or those returning after a season or more away must have their ID checked. Suitable ID is the original birth certificate, passport or driver’s licence. We will announce dates and times for this at a later date, ID cannot be emailed or sent over messenger to the club.

GIRLS ONLY COMPS – From U8 onwards NFA run girls only competitions, this encourages girls to play soccer longer and there has been a large amount of work put in to developing these competitions. To support this, unless specifically requested or when teams are full, all girls will be placed into a girls only team to play in the girls only comps.

TEAM REQUESTS – During the registration process in Dribl you are able to request to stay with the same team or to play with a friend. NOTE we do our best to accommodate requests but there will be times where we are unable to meet them and returning players will take preference when forming teams.

PLAYING UP A YEAR – GPFC keeps players in the correct age group for their age i.e turning 8 will be U8. Exceptions to this are in the girls only teams and in the older junior teams (U14 up) due to numbers required to form teams. Please be mindful of this when registering to avoid disappointment.

CADET/CLUB REFS – You will register through Dribl, similar process to a player registration, please follow the Play Football steps if you don’t have an FFA number. Club Refs will need a Working With Chidren Check (WWCC) see below for where to find the information on that.

COACHES & MANAGERS – Please see the registration page for these roles as the requirements for the WWCC is detailed there.

UNIFORMS – Jerseys are provided for all players and returned to the club at the end of the season. All players in U5 and U8 and new players in U6 and U7 will receive shorts and socks as part of their registration fee. Those needing to purchase shorts, socks or other merchandise like jackets and jumpers can do so online through our supplier Team Spirit.

Any difficulties with registering please email compsec@glenmoreparkfootball.com.au, if waiting for a return email, please check junk/spam as they sometimes go there!
