Policy Papers – Alcohol Policy

Note from Nepean to Senior Teams Re: Alchohol

Commitment Statement:

The Glenmore Park Football club is committed to ensuring that all members have a positive and enjoyable experience through all aspects of their membership with the club.

The broad outline of GPFC’s approach to consumption of alcohol is contained within GPFC’s Drug Free Policy. In addition to those guidelines GPFC supports the requirements of NFA in prohibiting the consumption of alcohol within 10 metres of any soccer field. GPFC further acknowledges the conditions of use with Penrith City Council for playing fields in that written consent is first obtained from Penrith City Council before bringing alcohol into a park or reserve or Council Building.

Who is this policy for?

All club members, including parents of junior players, are expected to actively support and comply with all relevant policies.

Actions:

GPFC will not seek consent from Penrith Council to bring alcohol into any park or reserve.  GPFC will provide notice to its members of this policy at time of registration. GPFC will provide appropriate signage of prohibition at its grounds during match times.
